Even though Art Via light is based in Dallas, Texas, we get hired to shoot all over the country. This most recent fashion shoot we were hired by a marketing agency in Los Angeles. They flew us out to Joshua Tree, California for a fashion photo and video shoot. Check out the bts video and some of the results from the first look!
Shooting fashion photography, Aaron Fairooz loves to use hard light as it brings out the textures and colors in the outfits. Below we see him use natural sunlight at a 45 degree angle from the subject to maintain a left to right light direction, front lit but he maintains shadows on the right side. This allows a movement of light from light to dark and in turn creates dimension.
